In addition to sample collection and processing, IBBL also acts as a biorepository, or sample storage site. We store and maintain a large number of biological samples and their associated data to the highest quality, using a variety of techniques to yield the most effective results.

- Liquid nitrogen storage (-196°C)
- Data storage
- Pseudonymisation by a trusted third party (to protect privacy of the donor)
