The Luxembourg Personalized Medicine Consortium (PMC)is "on the right track", confirmed international scientists from the Scientific Advisory Board during the two-day PMC Retreat on 24th and 25th November 2011 in Mondorf, Luxembourg. The PMC has been operating for just over a year now, and the scientists involved asked their international peers for a critical review of their plans. The results of a two-day retreat: they have made a very good start on their programs, meaning the PMC has an appropriate strategic setup.

Le diabète de type 2 est une maladie qui s’est développée de  manière spectaculaire au cours des 30 dernières années et qui devrait augmenter d’au moins 20 % en Europe d’ici 25 ans. Il s’agit d’une maladie complexe régie par de multiples facteurs à risque. Un panel d’experts provenant du Canada, Qatar et Luxembourg se réunira les mercredi 27 et jeudi 28 septembre à Luxembourg pour discuter d’un programme de recherche commun permettant de mieux comprendre et  combattre cette maladie.
