IBBL (Integrated BioBank of Luxembourg), a not-for-profit biobank supporting cutting-edge biomedical research and innovation, today announces the appointment of Karl Heinz Dick as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Karl-Heinz Dick joins the IBBL with a degree in Engineering and Business from Mons University (Belgium) and over 30 years of experience in the European banking and fund industry. His vast array of expertise within the financial sector stems from various positions linked to finance, merger & acquisition and fund management.
After university, Karl-Heinz Dick started his career in 1980 with JP Morgan in Brussels. Four years later he moved on to the Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL), where he worked in various positions for 25 years. Beyond his extensive knowledge of the banking and fund industry, he has also been involved in strategic projects and, as part of the Senior Management Team, he strongly contributed to the reshaping of business units within international organizations. In addition, Karl Heinz Dick is also member of the Luxembourg Association of Independent Director (ILA).

Karl Heinz Dick started in his new position at IBBL on 10th April 2013 and is looking forward to supporting and strengthening the team at IBBL and being involved in shaping the Luxembourg healthcare and biomedical research sector.
