Call for Proposals: Translational research in Luxembourg

The fund is an initiative launched in 2014 by the founding members of the PMC in an effort to solve unmet clinical needs, foster interactions between Luxembourg-based research institutes and hospitals, and help researchers over the first hurdle of getting an innovative project off the ground before seeking external funding.

The institutes behind the PMC, the LIH (Luxembourg Institute of Health), the LCSB (Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine) and IBBL (Integrated BioBank of Luxembourg) are not only the initiators of the PMC Pump Prime Fund; they also provide the funding for up to three successful projects per call edition.

This year marks the third call for proposals of the PMC Pump Prime Fund. The call is open to Luxembourg-based researchers in the field of translational biomedical research and must include investigators from at least two  of the PMC-funding institutes: LIH, IBBL and LCSB.
